Wedge House

Wedge House

Farragut, Tennessee
(on the boards)

The Wedge House is a design in process for a carpenter and his children. The wedge-shaped and steeply sloping lot opposite a golf course in an eclectic West Knoxville neighborhood has frequently changed ownership due to its desirable location yet unique siting challenges. This work set out to establish a solution to the topographical and ecological challenges while sensitively positioning the design within its historic and cultural context.
